David Rusnell
David Rusnell March 10, 1938 - October 27, 2014 On Monday, October 27, 2014 David Martin Rusnell, 76, long time resident of Sherwood Park Alberta, peacefully went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus. He passed away at the Olds Hospital and Care Centre surrounded by his family and friends.
David was born March 10, 1938, in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, the second of six children to Eber and Crystal Rusnell.
In the early years of his career David worked for Jenner Motors, Sun Toyota, and Kingsway Toyota. And in 1977 he started his own company HonDaToy Automotive in Edmonton, Alberta.
icOn September 20, 1958 he married his bride, Loretta Jean Reed. They were blessed with three children Rick, Gwen and David Jr.
David loved to spend time with his family, hunting, fishing, golfing, woodcarving and bird watching. He also took great joy in serving at his church.
David is survived by his wife, Loretta of 56 years; his children, Rick Rusnell, Gwen (Don) Day, David (Sharon) Rusnell; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and brothers Carl (Lorraine) Rusnell, Walter (Crystal) Rusnell, Lorne (Cecile) Rusnell; sister, Ida (Mike) Yuzwenko; and sister-in-law, Robert (Helen) Rusnell; church family and many friends.
He was pre-deceased by his father and mother Eber and Crystal Rusnell, and his brother Robert (Bobby) Rusnell.
Funeral service was held on Friday, October 31, 2014 in Sherwood Park, Alberta T8H 2C1
