For Pastor Ken and Janice. In September of 2008 Pastor Ken Clarke became the new pastor for Valley 4C's. He came to proclaim God's Word, to welcome new members and to baptize. Ken gave comfort to those in times of sickness and trouble, and at the death of our loved ones. Both he and Janice shared in our joys and sorrows, they and their family have been important to all of us at Valley and in our service to our community. We recognize how God has blessed us through Pastor Ken and are grateful to God for sending him to us. As they have been a blessing to us, now we ask God to to bless them as Ken begins his retirement. We ask that they be granted peace and contentment, leisure and good health, and a richness of life that comes from knowing God the Creator, Redeemer and Comforter.
I am Grateful God woke me up today.....Everyday is a gift!. I am thank-ful for my faith in Jesus Christ our Savior.
I abide in His rest, peace, love, comfort and joy! 05/31/24 Shelley Middleton I've been asked by several people why I want to be baptized at this time.
Yes my parents baptized me as a child, and yes I excepted Jesus as my Saviour, but over a year ago when I was reading Matthew 3:13 -17 where Jesus was asking John to Baptize him. I felt how important it was to Jesus. I've given this much prayer and I feel I want to do as Jesus did . I am making a public declaration that I am a follower of Jesus. I don't think this will make me a better person other than making it known that I am a follower of Jesus. The Scripture I have chose is Psalm 73:26: My flesh and heart may fail but God is my strength and my portion forever. |
