Christmas Greetings
From John Unger:
During this Christmas season it has again become so apparent on how much we do have in The Scriptures. We have heard it in our Worship times, have read of it historically and read it again in His Testimony to us that we do serve and worship a God who is Truth. It has been said that “it’s not true because it is in the Bible but it is in the Bible because it is true”. An interesting use of words but again raising up our foundation.
Also came across this quote from a Psalm this morning referring to David, “you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name”. What a gift to us in these days in the efforts of turning Christmas into holidays. Let’s keep proclaiming the Truth of Christmas and thank you Pastor Ken for doing this so faithfully.
Many would say that this is another start in a circular argument but no...no, the real Truth and verification of it all lies in our heart. We can confirm these facts personally in numerous ways, first in how God has changed us and secondly how He demonstrates His faithfulness and love to us who believe each day. The peace and contentment that we have cannot be found in the world around us but only in the Christ of Christmas.

Greetings from Ann and Arn Speirs. May our Saviour continue to bring you peace and joy in 2021!

May you find joy and peace in the quiet comfort of your home this season.
Be safe and stay healthy. Until we can gather again.
May God give you grace and peace. (1 Thessalonians 1:1)
Blessings, Bill and Edna
Trudy and Shirley wish each and everyone a very Happy and Blessed Christmas!
We know it is really hard this year!
We have all faced difficult situations before and because we are assured of our Saviour’s love and mercy, we will come through this too.
We look forward to the wonderful day that we can all meet together in the fellowship that we all enjoy so much.
May the Peace of Jesus touch you today and every day until then. Much love from us.

On behalf of the Leadership Team and Katie, I wish all of you a Blessed Christmas.
As 2020 draws to a close, many titles will be given to this year. I’m sure that all the various tags and names given will embody change. Indeed, most has changed but not everything. The Message of Christmas has remained steadfast and in a real sense strengthened. How we prepare and go about celebrating will be different but the focus on why we celebrate does in fact become more important and clearer.
Long ago the prophets predicted His coming, Christ came to settle our debt and now we await His return. In this we rejoice and celebrate. Our Foundation is secure and our Faith is steadfast in our God who sent us His Son. As the psalmist David says “those who know your name will trust in you for you have not forsaken those who seek you”. And some pages further David says that “you are my God and my times are in your hands”. These are the encouragements of our day and our time. So turn up the Carols, give generously and read the history and prophecies of the Scriptures.
But in all of that we are reminded and remember those of you ; who are separated from loved ones, those of you who need recovery, our extended families, our partners in Missions all around the globe, our members in care facilities and the ones that are grieving, and the many whom we see but need to distance. Our prayers are with you. We may celebrate alone but we are never alone.
So Merry Christmas...and remember Emmanuel, God is with us!
Blessings, John
