So as we reflect and walk into another New Year; here are some truths from God's Word on which we can build a confident foundation for 2018, no matter what lies before us.

“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
3 For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. (Isaiah 41:1-3)
The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him. (Jeremiah 3:25)
Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. (John 14:1)
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)
God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. (1 Corinthians 10:13)
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7)
May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you. (Psalm 33:22)
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39)
As you cling to the truth of His Word and the promises of our faithful God, may you have a blessed New Year!
